Fuerteventura's Caleta de Fuste, in the Canary Islands, is located close to the airport and is a fairly new town and holiday destination. Caleta de Fuste boasts many facilities to keep you and the kids occupied and most of these are featured within these pages.
Caleta has been around for about 10-15 years, before that it was a coastal, er...coast. Not much happening at all, but now it is a thriving community with child-safe beaches, and their various water and sand based activities, as well as bars, restaurants, tours, cruises, coastal walks plus much much more.
The Nail & Hair Salon
You will find a warm and friendly welcome in the salon, offering a wide varity of treatments. Noreen, the owner, has lived on the island for 12yrs now with over 20yrs of experience.
Her latest addition to the team is Carolina, from Argentina, whose grandfather (from a long line of hairdressers), actually pioneered the straightening method she uses to this day. The method involves no amonia or formadahyde, and will not require blow drying and straightening for upto 1 year after the treatment.
