Fuerteventura's Caleta de Fuste, in the Canary Islands, is located close to the airport and is a fairly new town and holiday destination. Caleta de Fuste boasts many facilities to keep you and the kids occupied and most of these are featured within these pages.

Caleta has been around for about 10-15 years, before that it was a coastal, er...coast. Not much happening at all, but now it is a thriving community with child-safe beaches, and their various water and sand based activities, as well as bars, restaurants, tours, cruises, coastal walks plus much much more.

Bars & Food
There are plenty of great bars here in Caleta de Fuste, and here are just a sample.
The Slap n Tickle recently reopened and can be found up the stairs in the Happy Centre (behind Castillo Mar) offering great food and late night entertainment. Next, and heading towards the White Centre, you can find the The Sixties Bar, and Lin's Bistro Bar, all offer great drinks as well as a full menu, and snacks too. Another hidden gem and relative newcomer is Scooters Bar located opposite Fado Rock. While in town check out The Goose & Firkin or maybe O'Connor's
New additons to the caletalive fold are the Wild West Restaurant in the White Centre, the excellent El Patio, across from them is the El Rincon Canario, all worth a night and a good feed.

Down the road, and just past the Happy Center is the King's Arms, a great bar with a chilled feel.

Heading up the hill a little, and you'll come to The Haflway House, and the wonderful Pickled Palm at the MonteCastillo Centre, its not far and an easy walk, or €3.00 cab ride.

Over in Nuevo Horizonte (aka Costa de Antigua) we have the NEWLY REFURBED AND fabulous Mustang Sallys, as well as the wonderful Stoners Irish Bar, both defo worth a look and an evening out.
