Fuerteventura's Caleta de Fuste, in the Canary Islands, is located close to the airport and is a fairly new town and holiday destination. Caleta de Fuste boasts many facilities to keep you and the kids occupied and most of these are featured within these pages.
Caleta has been around for about 10-15 years, before that it was a coastal, er...coast. Not much happening at all, but now it is a thriving community with child-safe beaches, and their various water and sand based activities, as well as bars, restaurants, tours, cruises, coastal walks plus much much more.
Lins is a great place. A wonderful bar with great food and a great waitress. Lin's menu is extensive and alwys fresh, and he sells the only decent pint of Estrella on Earth.
The restaurant is open from 9am until 2230pm ish, and they serve an extensive range of great, freshly cooked foods including an all day breakfast served five ways. A curry: which is a particular favourite of mine (ask em to juice that puppy up!), and a varied snack menu for those not wanting a full meal. There are no TVs, and the music is quiet. So if you are looking for great food and little noise, then this is the place for you.
Get yourself there and say hi to Lin and Kelly, I am certain you will get a great meal, and great service...GUARANTEED. Fuerteventura needs more places like Lins, so go along and support the cause: eat more good food for less cash.
